After a lengthy battle with cancer, the death of Jean Marie Maynard
(Hallett), wife of Travis Maynard, occurred on July 4, 2010, in
Fredericton.
Jeannie was born in Moncton, NB on August 15, 1966 to the late John and Madeleine (Paul) Hallett. She is survived by her daughter Katrina Maynard of Fredericton, NB, granddaughter Isabella, and her two brothers, Ronald Hallett of Fredericton, NB and Peter Hallett of London, ON.
The family would like to extend a thank-you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit for their very special care of our wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Many thanks to Father Monte Peters of St. Anthony's Parish for his prayers and kindness. A very special thank-you is given to Helen Strachen, Jeannie’s best friend and caregiver during her final days.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, on Monday July 5, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday July 6 at 11:00 AM from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment to be held in St Anthony’s Cemetery immediately following the service.
Memorials to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated by the family.
