It with a deep sadness we announce the sudden passing of Edward Norman Estey on Thursday April 23, 2026.

He was born June 16, 1961. He is survived by his wife Della (Hickey) Estey, his stepchildren, Stephanie and Jason and three grandchildren, Connor, Eric, and Abigail.

He is predeceased by his parents Colin and Mary (Bubar) Estey.

Eddy started behind the wheel of a truck and heavy equipment in his teens and became well known with his employers and co-workers as "Steady Eddy", on time and reliable. He was always willing to go the extra mile.

He loved all day breakfast with his tea, and he had to have his molasses. He was honest to a fault and told us exactly what he thought, whether you liked it or not.

Bishop’s Funeral Home and Crematorium (506-458-1885), 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB have been entrusted with his arrangements. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Eddy’s life will be held at a later date with location and time to be announced.
