It is with shock and sadness that the family of Jacqueline Hoekman announce her sudden passing. Jacqui was the salt of the earth, One of a kind, with a strong work ethic, a love for life and a much-respected member of her community. 

Jacqui is survived by her devoted Partner David Trask and her seven children - Jody Peters, Joselynne Paige Hoekman, Brianna Jodie Hoekman, Makenzee Dianne Hoekman, Isaac Ezra Hoekman, Jacob Nehemiah Hoekman, Nathaniel David Hoekman. Mother - Pauline Duguay and sister Kiki Hoekman, Niece - Mya MacIntyre, Grandson- George Nathaniel Hoekman, Her stepchildren Elizabeth Latimer, Laura Trask and her favourite feline Friend Phineas, predeceased Father- Ralph Hoekman

One of Jacqui’s favourite pastimes was spending cruise time on the beautiful waters of the St. John River.  She loved to spend time gardening and taking care of her plants, caring for her fish and beloved pets. 

A celebration of life will be held at the Fredericton Loyalists Rugby Clubhouse on Cityview Avenue on Friday afternoon between 2pm and 5 pm. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Fredericton SPCA.
