It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Peter Geoffrey Kennedy on December 13, 2024, at the age of 56. Peter was born on February 17, 1968, in Fredericton, New Brunswick to parents Michael and Patricia Kennedy.

Peter is survived by his wife, Pamela (Floyd) Kennedy, daughters Christine (Matt) Kennedy, Amanda (Trevor) Kennedy, and son Jason (Chloe) Kennedy, sisters Susan (Chuck) Dunphy, Heather (Jody) Vincent, brother Stephen Kennedy, several nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

Peter loved to live life to the fullest. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend who always wanted to do things for the people he cared about. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and kids, fishing and hunting moose, deer, and birds in Boiestown, attending classic rock and country concerts, and having a drink with his buddies. He travelled from Fredericton, to Portugal, Hawaii, and Dominican with his wife and to many provinces and US states with his family. Peter was grateful for all the support from his family and friends, most of all his wife, Pam, who he called his rock. He is finally at peace with his best friend, his golden retriever Bailey. He will be greatly missed by all of his loved ones.

A private service was held at Bishop’s Funeral Home. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Dr. Everett Chalmer’s Oncology Department and the Oromocto Extramural team for their outstanding care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter’s memory may be made to the DECH Oncology or the Canadian Cancer Society.
