It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Grace Alice Townsend. Grace passed away peacefully at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on October 4, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Wilson and Ada Stewart. Predeceased by her siblings, Vera O’Donnell, Sadie Price, Gary Stewart, Don Stewart, daughter Judy Davis, and son in-law Don Davis.

Grace will be missed dearly by her children, Donnie Warren and Kimberly Jewett (Dave); grandchildren, Alan, Brittaney, Kyla, Jenna (Danny), Tessa and Devin; great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Weston, Keegan and Eli; and many nieces and nephews.

Grace loved to travel; she lived all over Canada but called Fredericton home.  She adored her family and friends and loved spending time with them. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her joy, and she loved them with all her heart. Grace was known for her sense of humor and kindness; she made friends everywhere she went.

As per Grace’s wishes and love of a cold beer, there will be a celebration of life for family and friends at a later date.
