It is with profound sadness that family and friends of Thomas John King announce his sudden passing on August 28, 2024 in Fredericton. 

    Thomas leaves behind his sisters Susan King Glenn of Fredericton, Wendy King Marks (Paul) of Rosebery, British Columbia, his niece Sarah Louise Glenn of Fredericton and special friend Irma Makariunaite of Delhi, Ontario . He was predeceased by his parents Dorothy and Dudley King, and nephew Spencer Thomas Glenn of Fredericton.

    Thomas was born in Churchill, Manitoba on November 19,1959. He graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from York University in Toronto. His passions were lifelong, focusing on art, entertainment and music.  In the early years, he worked on many animated productions and became a production manager for Nelvana Animator Company in Toronto working on such projects as Care Bears and TinTin. He was instrumental in the formation of a Comic Jam website in Toronto and took pride in its success. 

    Thomas loved to spend time at the family cottage near Perth, Ontario and filming family adventures while living in Europe during the early seventies. After moving to Fredericton in 2023, he enjoyed the weekly game of Trivia at Dolan's pub. Thomas was a generous and kind soul, always putting others first. He will be sadly missed by all.      Funeral arrangements will be private under the care of Bishop's Funeral Home. Celebrations of Thomas's life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Canadian Mental Health Association in his honor. Online condolences may be made at www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
