Eleanor (Shaw) Rynax of New Maryland entered into rest on Tuesday April 30th 2024 at her late residence of Shannex Neill Hall.
Eleanor was born in Fredericton on April 22nd 1930 to Roland And Elva (Scott) Shaw. She was the second of three children, older sister Shirley Sloat and younger brother Robert (Bobby). Eleanor married Lawrence Rynax in June of 1949.
Eleanor is survived by Son Scott (Mariet van Groenewoud), Daughter Luana Rynax-Clements and Son in Law Bill. She was Nan to her grandchildren; Alyssa Clements (Mark), Kyle Clements, Nicholas Rynax (Jaime) and Jared Rynax (Haley). Eleanor was blessed to have decades long friendship from Glenna Sloat and Lois Ball.
Eleanor was predeceased by her parents, Husband Lawrence, Sister Shirley, Brother in Law Lester Sloat and Brother Bobby.
As Eleanor wished, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private internment will take place at St. Mary the Virgin Anglican cemetery in New Maryland at a later date.
The family would like to thank the nurses, CCAs and staff at Neill Hall who cared for her for over three and a half years. The care and compassion they showed Ellie and her family was second to none.
