The family of Ilene Janet Price (Morgan) are sad to announce her passing on April 3, 2024, at Thomas Hall, Parkland Shannex. Ilene was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Warren Price.  Born on February 4,1934 in Nasonworth, NB, she was the daughter of the late William and May (Mowry) Morgan. 

Ilene was raised in a Christian home and grew up loving the Lord. She was a member of the Nasonworth Baptist Church (where she loved playing the organ) and attended the Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland. She was very loving, kind, soft spoken and thoughtful like her mother.  Ilene enjoyed having family gatherings whether at home or at the family cabin. She also enjoyed baking, gardening, playing the piano and camping. 

Ilene is survived and lovingly remembered by her children Dawna Briggs (Alden) of New Maryland, Dianne Lindsay (Steven) of Calgary, Barb Goodine (Danny) of Lower Kingsclear and Brad Price (Pam) of Chipman. Grandchildren Barrett Esligar, Angela Ste. Croix, Jessica MacDonell, Jeremy Lindsay, Kaylee Goodine, Shayna Goodine, Shannon Goodine, Ashley Gaudet, Karley Seely, Leisa Hoogendoorn, Mike Briggs, Jessica Caissie, Nicole Caissie and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Ilene is also survived by her sisters-in-law Muriel Morgan and Doris Morgan.

Ilene was predeceased by brothers William (Billy) Morgan, Manford Morgan and sisters Esther Ryan (Fred) and Lorraine MacNeill (Darrell).

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Thomas Hall who provided compassionate care for Ilene. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or a charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.

A celebration of Ilene’s life will take place at the Faith Baptist Church, New Maryland on Monday May 6, 2024, at 2PM with Rev. Larry Matthews officiating, followed by a reception in the church hall.  A private interment will follow at the Nasonworth Baptist Church Cemetery.
