It is with great sadnesses that we announce the passing of Alta Anne Harvey, Lower Kingsclear, on March 11^th, 2024. Born December 25^th, 1935, she is the daughter of the late Alton and Arletta (Kelly) Gallagher.

Alta was a people person and loved her music! clogging and line dancing.  She also loved her cat Toddie and dog Precious. Alta was a member of the Mick Mack Trailer Club. Alta was a cancer survivor, fighting it twice and winning both battles.   She was heavily involved in the community participating in several groups and organizations.

Alta is survived by her two sons, Laurie (Susan Arsenault) of Upper Kingsclear, and Randie of Mazerolle Settlement; daughter Sherie Harvey (Ryan Walton), of Lower Kingsclear; 6 grandchildren, Candice, Rachel, Alex and Ryan, Chase, and Chantelle; 3 great-grandchildren, Kieryn, Adelyn, Kendra, Audrina and many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by her parents; Alton and Arletta (Kelly) Gallagher; husband, Ken; sister, Ann Jordan; daughters-in-law Kathy and Jayne; mother and father-in-law Garnet and Marjorie Harvey; sister-in-law, Fraetha (Eddy Lavigne); brothers-in-law, Ernest, and Bobbi Harvey.

Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB on Friday March 15^th, 2024, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held at Upper Kingsclear Baptist Church on Sunday March 17^th, 2024, at 4pm with Rev. Peter Valji officiating, with a reception to follow.

Interment at Kingsclear Baptist Cemetery will take place at a later date.
