It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of their sister Louise on March 6th, 2024, at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Louise was born in Stanley NB to the late Anna and Earl Gilks on April 28th, 1931.
Louise is survived by brothers Glen Gilks (Zelda), Earle Gilks (Andrea); sisters, Joyce Letourneau, Joan Fletcher (Donnie), Dawn Scribner (Ron), Karen Hodgson (Bill) and Fredi Nason (Butch).
Louise was predeceased by her husband Carl, her parents, brother Norris Gilks and sisters Pat Fox, Alice Beveridge and Kathryn Gilks.
There will be no service at this time. A private family Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
