The Family of Michael David Finnie of Magaguadavic Lake, Harvey, are sad to announce his passing at his home on February 2, 2024, with his Wife and Daughter at his side. 

Born in Fredericton, November 9th, 1951, he was the son of Irvine (deceased) and Maxine Finnie (Crouse). In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Mabel Finnie (Charters); his daughter Misty Finnie (Scott Carney), his grandson Nathaniel Carney Finnie, his granddaughter Summer Carney Finnie, two sisters Cathy Mazerall (Harvey) of Fredericton, Donna Finnie (Gordon Mazerall) of Fredericton as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his Father Irvine Finnie, and his best friend David Dunlap. 

Michael worked as an airplane mechanic for several years at the Fredericton Airport, as well as an Equipment Manager for Air Canada.

He enjoyed boating and fishing and playing pool with friends. 

The service will be held at Bishops Funeral Home by Rev. Dr. Karl Csaszar of the Skyline Acres Baptist Church on February 8th, 2024, at 2:00pm. A reception at the funeral home will follow the service.

Thanks to all the friends who made visits and to Rick Bennett for always checking on us. It has been much appreciated.
