The passing of Lavinia Christina Walsh of Fredericton NB occurred on Tuesday, January 16th, 2024, at the Pine Grove Nursing Home in Fredericton. Born February 17th, 1935, in Liverpool England, she was a daughter of the late George and Margaret (Lewis) Walsh.
She is survived by her husband Ronald Edward Walsh, children Charmaine Schuler of Switzerland, Dawn Crosman (Peter) of British Columbia Shane Walsh (Christine) of Hanwell, Lorraine Perry Mark Walsh (Barbara) of Stratford Ontario, Kieth Walsh (Michelle) of Stratford Ontario, and brother Edward (Ted) Lewis, as well as seven grandchildren Rhiannon, Danielle, Catherine, Patrick, Erin, Shauna and Max.
Besides her parents, Lavinia was predeceased by brothers George Lewis, and William (Willy) Lewis; and sisters Florence (Florrie) Jones and Margaret Potter
Although there will be no funeral service, the family will receive friends & visitors on Sunday January 21st, 2024, from 2-4PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lavinia’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of New Brunswick, or the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation.
