Haruo Konishi, PhD, of Fredericton, NB, retired professor of Classics at the University of New Brunswick, passed peacefully away on Friday December 8th, 2023, at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital. He was 90.
Beloved husband of Janet Phillipps. Leaving also to mourn, his sister-in-law Misaki Inoue, her children Takeshi and Sakura, and their families, all of Tokyo, Japan; his brother-in-law Gordon Phillipps (Laurene), his children Rebecca, Katy and Heather Phillipps and their families, all of St. John’s, Newfoundland. Cremation has taken place.
At the wishes of Dr. Konishi, there will be no visitation or funeral services.
