At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Sunday November 12, 2023, Jamie George Solomon passed away at the age of 47. Born in Fredericton, He was a son of the late Reginald and Audrey (Paul) Solomon. Jamie was fascinated with astronomy, history and all things scientific. He enjoyed playing guitar and long walks through the woods. Jamie, over the years, had dirt bikes and loved 4 wheeling with his friends and family.

He is survived by his son Michael Munn of Fredericton; two brothers David Paul and Peter Paul, both of Kingsclear; 9 sisters Alice Shepherd, Juanita Solomon, Shirley Hayward (Peter), Margaret Solomon, Sarah Paul, all of Kingsclear, Denise Richardson (Bill) of Penniac, Marie Zboyobsky (Brian) of Waasis, Gail Solomon and Emily Solomon (Mack) of Kingsclear; two Aunts Eleanor Solomon of Kingsclear and Henrietta Black of Tobique; two god-children Audrey Solomon and Ben Solomon; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides his parents he was predeceased his nephew Neil Paul, great niece Tiffany Shepherd, and his cousin and best friend Dennis Solomon".

Resting at 719 Church Street Kingsclear First Nation with visiting on Wednesday and Thursday. The funeral service will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Kingsclear on Friday November 17, 2023 at 11:00 am with Father Bill Brennan officiating.
