Maria Do Rosario Pinto, 72, of Fredericton NB, passed away on October 24th, 2023, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, with her family lovingly by her side.
Born and raised in Santa Marta, Portugal, she was the second eldest of five children.
Rosario would later marry and move to Fredericton, NB, with her husband of 49 years, Francisco Pinto, where she remained.
She devoted her life to her three children and 2 grandsons that loved her deeply and will forever miss her.
She leaves behind her 2 sons, Francisco Pinto and Mike Pinto, Daughter Maria Da Soledade Pinto, and two grandsons Miguel Pinto, Tomas Wright, and husband Fracisco Pinto.
Words cannot express the sadness of the family she left behind. This world feels empty without her in it.
It would be wrong to say that Rosario lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting. Just because she is no longer here, doesn’t mean she lost the fight.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home & Crematorium 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton where visitation will take place on Monday October 30th, 2023, from 11AM to 1PM. A mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2PM at St. Dunstan’s Catholic Church, with interment to follow in the Hermitage Cemetery.
