It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Comeau
announces her death at the DECH on October 21, 2023, at the age of 82.
She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond J Comeau, her parents
Thomas Cogswell and Annie Lindsay and brother Gerald Cogswell. A
loving mother to: Holly Comeau (John Tapin) of Ladner, BC, Angie
(Rick) Kirkbride of Oromocto, Sherry (Wayne) Morgan of Rusagonis,
Shannon (Jeff) Allen of Fredericton; cherished "Grammy
Comeau" to Ryan (Sarah) Noble and Hayley (Chad) Sprietsma;
Chelsey (Matt) MacDonnell; Connor (Dakkota) Morgan, Lindsay Morgan
(Nate) and Evan Morgan (Karrie); Braydon and Kennedy Allen; great
grandchildren: Grayson, Hayden, Colter, Parker and Preslee; siblings:
Dale, Barbara, Cathy and their families; sister-in-law, Joanne and her
family; special Uncle, Alvah Cogswell.
Some of her favorite things to spend her time doing were
knitting, quilting, pickling, and a good game of crib. A simple drive
through the country brought her joy and initiated great conversations
about the past. She loved going to the Blue Canoe with her family and
retired friends from the Bank of Nova Scotia. She appreciated any
visitors that popped by you were always invited back before you left.
Phyllis enjoyed living at Sunbury Manor, in Oromocto, for the past 2
and a half years, where she made some special friends.
Then family would like to thank Oromocto Extra Mural
(Vianne), Integrity Home Health Services (Tessa and Janice) and Dr.
Momtaz and staff.
The family will receive friends at the Rusagonis Baptist
Church, 4 Whittaker Road, Rusagonis, NB on Friday, October 27 at
1:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 2:00pm. Pastor Brent
MacDonald will be officiating. The service will be live streamed
through the church for those that are unable to attend.
Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. For those who wish,
in lieu of flowers, donations in Phyllis’s memory can be
made to Rusagonis Baptist Church.
"God saw you were getting tired, and a
recovery was not meant to be, so he put His arms around you and
whispered come home with me."
