It is with very heavy hearts that our family announce the sudden passing of Hollis Leckey, on September.3.2023, at the Dr.Everette Chalmers hospital in Fredericton.

Hollis was born on Oct.13.1948, and grew up in Coal Creek, NB. He was predeceased by his parents Basil and Dorthey Leckey, and two brothers Brian and Lorne Leckey.

Not only was Hollis an amazing man , he was a loving husband to his wife of 51 years Kathy Leckey, and a loving father to his son Shawn Leckey and daughter Stephanie Palmer(matt stairs).He was also a loving grandfather to Andrew Leckey (kayla miller) and his great grandson Kayson Leckey. He is also survived by his sister Linda Carroll.

Along with loving his family, Hollis loved his cats, Alvin, Precious, Blondie and BW, his presence will be missed by them always.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
