It is with heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of Corliss Amy May Pyne on August 24th, 2023, at the Dr
Everett Chalmers Hospital. She enjoyed 75 years of
life.
Corliss was born Febuary 23rd, 1948 in St
John, NB to Earnest & Maude Percy. She was the youngest of
three siblings.
Corliss was a beloved mother and
grandmother, compassionate friend and voracious romance reader. One
could always count on her for tea, cards, conversation, and homemade
cookies. Her bright smile and genuine warmth will be missed by family,
friends and acquaintances
alike.
Corliss is remembered by her son Chas,
daughter Laura, sister Donna, sister-in-law Celine, her 5
grandchildren Cassandra, Taylor, Kieran, Griffin, Charlie and
great-grandson James, along with many cousins, nieces and
nephews.
Corliss is predeceased by both parents,
her brother Larry and her husband A. Charles Pyne
II.
As per her request, there will be no
funeral service or visitation. A private ceremony will be held to
reunite Corliss with her husband in their shared resting
place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to her
memory can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of
Canada.
