With heavy hearts we announce the death of our beloved father Elwood C. Parsons on August 19th, 2023. He was 97.
Survived by his son, Brian Parsons (Pam), his oldest daughter Trudy Parsons, his youngest daughter Debbie Richard (Roger), stepdaughters Betty McCann and Maxine Billings, niece Geraldine Parsons Kelly and very special friend who became like his third daughter Olive Beliveau, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dad was predeceased by his first wife Beulah Virga, second wife Bernice Parsons, daughter Bonita, brothers Raymond and Truman, sister Bertha mother Amy and father Artur.
Dad was a volunteer WWII war veteran who served overseas. He loved to play crib, play pool, and watch his favorite baseball ream the blue jays. His favorite thing to do was to sit on the front deck, smoke his pipe and watch the cars go by.
There will be no visitation or service at his request. Bishop’s Funeral Home and crematorium has been entrusted with his arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the IWK or the War Amps.
