It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Polchies, who passed away on the early morning of June 13th. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many, and his loss will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

David is survived by his children Catherine Shay Jagoe, Tonya Simon, Kelsey Simon, and Brandon Augustine; Grandchildren Mia Simon, Drake Simon, Iris Jo Augustine, Rhiannon Allen, Gavin Shay, Brooke Jagoe, Shayla Jagoe, Taleia Jagoe, Callie Shay, Maxwell Jagoe, Caleb Augustine, Arizona Augustine, and Sage Augustine; Sister Terri Girdler (Greg) Neices and nephews; Jolene Fleming, Montana Fleming, Brittani Fleming, Denver Girdler, Alexander Girdler, Shelby Girdler, and Shaylynn Girdler

Including his parents, David is predeceased by his Loving wife Theresa Polchies, and uncle Billy Polchies.

David fought a courageous battle with cancer, but throughout it all, he remained steadfast in his love for his family and his passion for fishing. He cherished the time he spent on the water, casting his line and enjoying the beauty of nature. David was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, and they shared a bond that was unbreakable. He was a proud and supportive father to his children and a doting grandfather to his grandchildren, always eager to spend time with them to make memories that would last a lifetime.

Although David is no longer with us, his memory will live on through the love and devotion he showed to his family and friends. His legacy will be the countless lives he touched and memories he created. There will be a visitation at the Kingsclear community centre beginning at 10AM Thursday and Friday, June 15th/16th. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 17th, at 3PM. A burial will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace, David, you will be forever missed but not forgotten.
