With heavy hearts Mike’s family share of his
passing at the Dr. Everett Chalmers
Hospital.
Mike was a man who lived to be outdoors. His activities
included hunting and baseball. (One home run ball hasn’t
landed yet.)
Mike’s love was his family. He always looked
forward to catching a ball or hockey game of his nephews, or a dance
recital of his niece. He enjoyed hanging out with friends
and exchanging stories of the woods. Who shot the largest
buck or the most partridge is still up for
debate.
Michael is predeceased by his father, Terrance
Marshall, grandfather Alfred Marshall, grandmother Mabel Phipps,
grandfather Ed Fletcher, grandmother Joan Fletcher, aunt Ruth Marshall
and his "always by his side" American bulldog,
Jersey.
Michael is survived by his common law partner Kelli
Noble, his mother Cindy Marshall, his sister Pam (Chris) Bennett,
nephews Andrew and Caleb, niece Brianna, aunt Nancy Fletcher, uncle
Randy Fletcher, uncle Robert Marshall, cherished cousins which include
his hunting cousins Matt Marshall and Todd Higgins, family, and
several close friends.
Family invites you to remember Mike’s journey
at a gathering on Saturday May 6th 2 pm at the Nashwaaksis Baptist
Church (104 Edgewood Drive). The gathering will be led by Rev. Chris
Bennett and Rev. Ralph Irving. Interment will take place at the
Marysville Baptist
Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Dr. Everett
Chalmers ICU, Dr. Heather Logan and RN Roy Ma for their compassionate
care during Mike’s health issues. They also wish to thank
Bishop’s Funeral home for the support and care during the
final steps of Mike’s journey. Life is hard but God is
good!
