The passing of Barbara Joan Davidson of Fredericton occurred at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton on Saturday January 28th, 2023. Born in Chipman NB, she was a daughter of the late William DeWolfe & Eleanor Coburn DeWolfe.
Barbara worked as a cook at Boldon’s for seventeen years, and loved cooking for her family. She was a very hard-working devoted wife and mother who’s smile could light up a room. She loved her time at Yoho Lake with Murray and family and watched many Montreal Canadiens hockey games which they were very invested in for many years.
Barbara is survived by three sons Matthew Davidson (Kelly) of Fredericton, Miles Davidson (Pat) of Harvey NB, Billy Davidson (Colleen) of Surrey BC, one daughter Ellie Kearns of London Ontario, eleven grandchildren; Madison, Ireland, Sadie, Maya, Joshua, Christopher Curtis, Ryan, Becky, Robert and Rachael; siblings as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Murray.
The family will receive friends and visitors on Wednesday, May 17th 2023 from 12-2PM at Bishop's Funeral Home & Crematorium. A graveside commital service will follow in the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery. Donations in Murray’s memory can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
