The family of Nancy Marie Allen of Fredericton NB are very sad to announce her passing at Hospice Fredericton on January 9th, 2023. Nancy was born in McAdam NB on November 1, 1966.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Betty Tucker (stepfather the late Bev Bate); her husband and best friend, Robert Allen; a son Austin Blais whom she loved with all her heart; a brother, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left to mourn Nancy’s passing are her two best friends, Evelyn, and Wayne Lemon as well many other close friends that are too numerous to mention.
Nancy was predeceased by her birth father, Jarvis Tucker as well as two brothers and a sister.
Anyone who met Nancy realized that she loved to laugh and had a zest for life, however, if anyone did wrong to her son Austin, they met the "Momma Bear". Nancy loved to play crib and truly enjoyed "skunking" Robert on many occasions. She was a member of the Fredericton Legion Branch #4, as well as working there as a bartender for many years.
Visiting will be held on January 12th from 2-4 and 6-8 at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB. As per Nancy's wishes, please come dressed in your normal everyday clothing.
Donations in memory of Nancy may be made at the funeral home to a living memorial fund to assist with the unexpected funeral costs.
