It is with the heaviest of hearts, I announce the peaceful passing of my father, Jack Kitchen Stapledon. He was battling infections that wore his body down and after a 4-month battle with these recurring infections, on December 1st, 2022, he drifted off into his peaceful forever sleep, free from pain.

Jack spent the best years of his life as a long-haul truck driver and later became a correctional officer for 18 years where he was well liked and respected by the clients.

He loved all of his dogs wholeheartedly and enjoyed horses in his younger years. He and my mother adopted us  and raised 3 children together but separately. He will forever be missed but always remembered fondly…even his grumpiness which he was known and loved for.  

 

He is survived by his children Jessica Stapledon, Scott Stapledon (Erin Roper), Lesley Stapledon, Kerry Campbell (Waugh), his brother PeeWee (Allan) Stapledon, sister Mona Stapledon and donna Clarke (Stapledon) and his many grandchildren and great-children that he adored. 

Jack was predeceased by his father Allan Stapledon, mother Christine (Price) Stapledon and brother Earl Stapledon as well as Richard Price.
