The passing of Alderic Alphe Hachey of Fredericton, N.B. occurred on Sunday November 27th, 2022.  He was 87.  Born January 12, 1935, in Rogersville, N.B., he was the son of the late Auguste and Flavie (Cormier) Hachey. Alderic was a member of St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church in Lincoln, N.B.

Prior to his retirement, Alderic was a Barber for 45 years of which for the last 25 years as owner.

Alderic is survived by his daughter Brenda Lee Blizzard (Dwight) of Fredericton, NB; three sons Robert (Joannie) of Douglas, NB, Guy (Francine) of Moncton, NB and Paul (Margaret) of Riverview, NB; 7 grandchildren; Angela(Craig) of Fredericton, Amanda (Jason) of Ottawa, Matthew (Ashley) of Greenwood, Tristen of Moncton, Denee (Sean) of Moncton, Ashley (Jacob) of Fredericton and Kayla ( Eric) of Oromocto and 6 great-grandchildren; Danielle, Luke, Alex, Zach, Max and Charlie.  Brothers Gerard of Gardiner Mass and Joseph (Stella) of Cocagne. Sisters-in-law Doris of Shediac and Jean of Moncton as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, his wife Dorina and son Vincent. Alderic was predeceased by sister Adele, brothers, Francois, Albert, Edgar, Eric, Alfred, sisters-in-law Meta, Therese, Laurie, Regina and Valerie and brother-in-law Napoleon.

The family and friends will receive condolences at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on December 1st, 2022, from 6-8 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, Lincoln, NB December 2nd, at 12 Noon with Father Charles Udeh as celebrant. Interment in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.

The family requests that masks be worn at visitation and funeral service, Do to immunocompromised family members.
