It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Isabel Lyons of Carroll’s Crossing, NB announce her passing on November 22, 2022 at Nashwaak Villa in Stanley. She was the daughter of the late Donald and Hazel (Price) Hersey.

Donna loved doing puzzles and crosswords, loved her cats, and had an obsession with feeding the birds and squirrels that would frequent her feeder. Later in her life, she enjoyed art, and singing in the church choir.

She is survived by her husband Marvin Lyons, her children Robert Murray (Velma), Andrew Murray (Terri) and James Murray (Rosanne), 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, stepchildren; Ricky Lyons (Shelly), Rhonda O’Donnell (Chris), Susan Coy (Dave), Brenda Pelletier (Robert), Graham Lyons (Penny), Susan Reid and Carolyn (Rob) Dakin, 12 step-grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her previous husband Ivan Hancox and 2 brothers Frank and Jim Hersey.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 25th, 2022, from 1-3 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road. A celebration of life will be held immediately following the visitation at 3 with Pastor Mike Trail officiating.
