Robert Erwin Fraser of Fredericton NB, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on June 25th, 2022, at the age of 85. Born in Dumfries, he was a son of the late Albert "Neil" and Ethel (Scott) Fraser.
Robert was a mechanic by trade, he loved to work on his cars and would often be found under the hood of or underneath of a car on most days. He enjoyed collecting and restoring classic cars and spending quality time with Charlene going to car shows.
He will be deeply missed by his children; Roger (Katari) and Brenda Fraser, granddaughters Allisha and Emily, step grandchildren Anthony and Sam Mitchell, great grandchildren; Jace Jaxon and Joyner. Brothers and sisters; Joyce Piercy (Late Gordon), Vaughan (Evelyn), Travis (Late Ann), Mavis Greer (Mike), Velda Morrow (Late Hughie), Mary Ann Patterson (late Gary), Brian (Cynthia), Myrna Lint (Dan) and Markus (Rose). As well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews, and companion friend Betty Lawson.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by longtime special friend Charlene Moase and the mother of his children Carolyn (Pyne).
Visitation will be held on Thursday June 30th from 1-3 PM from Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Rd., Fredericton. A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel at 3 PM. Interment to follow in the Fredericton Rural Cemetery. Donation’s may be made to the NB Lung Association.
