It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Darlene Beverly O’Hara (Gray) at her home in Fredericton on Monday, June 20th, 2022. at the age of 59. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Stella (Joyce) Gray.
She worked many years at the DECH. She was a very caring and loving mother. She took great care of her son Shawn and was always there to help anyone that needed a kind word or helping hand. Shawn was her pride and joy. She was a very strong woman that endured a lot of hardship with ongoing health issues.
Survived by her son Shawn of Fredericton, two sisters Linda Howe and Gail Perry (Robert), nieces and nephew, Samantha Howe, Melissa Howe (Aaron), Jessica Howe (Matt), Shannon Perry and Sheldon Perry (Cassie). Great nieces and nephews, Hailey Howe, Tucker, Hudson, Stanley and Stella Yeomans, Willow and Waylon Monteith, Abby and Jayden Perry.
Besides her parents, Darlene was predeceased by her husband Neil O’Hara and brother-in-law Kenny Howe.
The family has requested no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in the Forest Hill Cemetery for immediate family only. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice has been suggested by the family.
