It is with great sadness that the family
of Kenneth Joseph Tobin announce his passing on May 6, 2022, at the
age of 56, in Fredericton, N.B, after a brief battle with
cancer.
Kenneth is predeceased by his parents,
Cyril Tobin Sr. and Theresa Tobin (Wiseman), and brother, James
Patrick Tobin.
He is survived by his siblings, Tina
(Kelly Davidson), Tony, John (Shirley Withers), Helena (Jason
Williams), Cyril Jr., and Kevin (Emily Chevrier); nieces and nephews,
Christina, Christopher, Tyler, Theresa, Mark, Ryan, Jack, Landon,
Lydia, Oona, and Ari; uncles, Seamus Gibbons and Alphonse Sweeney;
aunts, Sandra Tobin, Helena Kavanaugh, Lorraine Ashford (Jim),

friends.
Kenneth was born in Goose Bay,
Newfoundland and Labrador on March 5, 1966. He moved to
Fredericton, N.B. with his parents and siblings in 1974. After
graduating from Fredericton High School in 1984, he pursued a career
as a computer technician, working for a number of years at Interactive
Computer Systems before becoming
self-employed.
Kenneth was an accomplished athlete,
playing competitive hockey, baseball, and softball. A lover
of music, he was self-taught on guitar, piano, and accordion,
recording much of his own music over the years. Kenneth was
logical and resourceful; he had an insatiable desire to learn how
things worked. Through curiosity and perseverance, he became
a highly adept computer technician, mechanic, electrician, and
carpenter. He led a life of great purpose and intention in
all that he did. He was generous, dependable, honest, and
kind, always willing to help family, friends, and
neighbours. Kenneth was adored by his family and will be
dearly missed.
