The passing of Jean Doris (Guilfoil) Evans of Fredericton occurred on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022, at the York Care Centre in Fredericton. She was 95.  Born on September 8, 1926, in Saint John NB, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Guilfoil (Boyle).  

She is survived by her son Tim Evans, Fredericton, NB. She was predeceased by her husband, Arnold Evans & son Ricky Evans. 
Aunt Jean was dearly loved by her niece Marilyn Wister Butler, Melbourne, Florida & nephew Bill Wister, Calgary, Alberta.

Jean retired from employment with NB government in the centennial building on King Street, Fredericton, NB where she made many friends. She will be missed by those who worked with her as well as her special friends outside her employment.

There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time, however a graveside committal service in the Sunny Bank Cemetery will take place in the spring. For those who wish, memorial contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association have been suggested by the family.
