The passing of Thelma M. Sodero of Oromocto occurred on Sunday, November 21st, 2021, at Hospice House Fredericton. Born in Hampstead NB on April 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late G. Burnham and Idora Gerow Cameron of Hamstead NB.
A lifelong Liberal, Thelma is survived by one sister Phyllis Bernard (Donald) as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by husbands Byron and Harold as well as one sister Mary Moore. Thelma loved music and enjoyed playing both piano and guitar. She also was a talented artist and was known especially for her paintings of birds and cats.
There will be no visitation by request. However, a graveside committal service will take place in the Central Hampstead Cemetery on Monday, December 6th, 2021, at 2PM.
For those who wish to donate in memory of Thelma, memorial donations may be made to any local SPCA or the Central Hampstead Cemetery.
