The passing of Donna (wife of Charles F. Brewer (deceased) occurred on November 7, 2021 at Fredericton, N.B.

Donna is survived by her beloved son, Anthony (Alexandra) of Nova Scotia, dear sister Sheila Cronkhite, darling niece Kim (Aub Ward) all of Fredericton.  Survivors also include her many cousins, numerous friends many of which are life long ones. Predeceased by her husband Charlie, loving parents George and Jennie ((McKay) Parker, her only brother David and her mother-in-law Ruth.

Her career was spent with both the Provincial and Federal Governments and her part time employ was in the Health care field from which she retired in 2004.  She enjoyed many hobbies (baking, reading, special television programs, preserving, sunning, her gardening, playing bridge, her computer activities and digital camera, even her 1st cell phone in later years). Her love of travel took her to all parts of Canada and to her winter retreat at St. Pete’s Beach in Fl, also several trips to the Caribbean. Summers were spent in their travel trailer.

Donna belonged to the wonderful group of FHS grad girls class of 1958 and so enjoyed their many coffee breaks and luncheons, the Hills-Mills group, also the Stepping Stone Centre for which she volunteered and sang.  Anglican all her life, Donna attended Sunday School, choir and was Sunday School teacher at St. Margaret’s stone church formally on the Lincoln Rd.  Donna and Charlie were married there in 1959 by Canon Coster.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Rd., Fredericton, N.B.  There will be no funeral or visitation by request.  A graveside service will be held for Donna and Charlie accompanied by their darling "Bobbie" cat at Forest Hill Cemetery in their plot next to her parents at a later date.

She would like to mention and give special thanks to her former health care provider of many years, Dr. R. King and his staff for their care and professionalism.
