William "Bill" Wesley Wyers

William "Bill" Wesley Wyers, of Keswick Ridge, NB, passed away peacefully at the Oromocto Public Hospital with his children by his side, on Saturday, November 6th, 2021. Born on July 18, 1948, he was a son of the late Clifford and Bessie (Pollock) Wyers.

Family was the most important thing to Bill. He loved his children immensely and was very proud of his grandchildren. There were many treasures that could be discovered at Bill’s house. He enjoyed buying and collecting old, antiqued things. He was especially fond of old trucks and his 1948 Ford pick-up. Bill was self-employed for the majority of his working career, where he took pride in his work as an auto body technician. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Bill will be missed profoundly by his son, Barry Wyers (Kim) of Fredericton, daughter, Cheyanne Wyers-Culbert (Tim) of Woodstock, grandchildren; Jacob, Jasper, Addison, Grace, and Harrison, sister, Sheila Wyers Martin (Doug Fraser) of Fredericton, one niece, two nephews, and several cousins. Bill will also be deeply missed by his very special friend, Donna Clark.

Bill received wonderful care and attention from the nurses and staff of the Duffy Unit at the Oromocto Public Hospital, and the family would like to express a sincere thank you.

A funeral service will take place at St. Ann’s Church in Kingsclear, NB, on Wednesday, November 10th, 2021, at 2PM with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will follow at the Pickard-Merrithew Cemetery in Keswick Ridge. All those wishing to attend must wear a mask, show proof of double vaccination and proper identification. If you wish to make a donation in Bill’s memory, please do so to the Fredericton Community Kitchen. Online condolences and sharing of memories can be made at www.bishopsfuneralhome.com
