The family of Brian Ellis (Blackie) Crossman are saddened to announce that he passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on October 4, 2021, at Fredericton Hospice.  Brian was born in Moncton NB on March 07, 1955, to his late parents George and Melvina (Malley) Crossman and is the husband of Geraldine (Storey) Crossman.

Brian worked for NB Power as a Hydro Axe Operator for 25 years. In addition to spending quality time with his family, he enjoyed fishing, building crafts and was well known for his washer toss boxes. Brian was a jokester who loved to torment.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his Children. Brian (Cynthia) Lake George, Stacy (Brian) Noonan, Adam (Jenn) Keswick and Brandon. Grandchildren Steven (Jorden), Travis, Dylan, Tyler (Amanda), Aaron, Josh, Brayden, Zoey, and Hunter. Great Grandchildren Raven and Ezekiel. Brian also had 2 God Daughters who he cherished very much, Teena Johnson of Hainsville and Stephanie Mercier of Noonan. Brian has 1 sister, Beverly (Allan) and 7 brothers, George, David (Helen), Bruce (Donna), Edward (Bonnie), Jimmy (Bonnie), Ronnie (Joan), and Jerry (Nellie) all of Fredericton. Brian will also be missed by his neices and nephews. 

Brian will sure be missed by all, as well as his little dog Brisky who he spent lots of time with over his last little while here with us.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to an outdoor celebration of a life well lived at Brian and Geraldine’s home, 347 Route 10, Richibucto Rd. The celebration will be held on Thursday October 7th from 6-8pm with prayers being held at 6pm followed by any personal remembrances or stories that you would like to share with the family. Due to the NB Governments guidelines on outdoor gatherings the family request that anyone who attends to wear and mask and respect social distancing guidelines.  Memorial donations in Brian’s memory may be made to Hospice House of Fredericton.
