It is with profound sadness that the family of John Rayner of Fredericton announces his sudden passing on August 14, 2021 at home.

John was a retired mechanic and had worked as a transmission specialist and on heavy duty equipment. He loved watching NASCAR, hockey and baseball and was rarely without his Tim’s coffee.

He is survived by his children Jillian Holder (Keith) of Fort McMurray, AB, Julie Pollick of Fort McMurray, AB, and Jason Price (Deena) of Fort McMurray, AB; siblings Gloria Rayner-Monteith of Shediac River, Linda Rayner of Beaverdam, Sheila Rayner of Fredericton, and Kevin Rayner of Fredericton; and 5 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Lucy Rayner and mother Roberta Rayner.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 14, 2021 at 11 AM in Bishops Funeral Home's Chapel, 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton.
