It is with
sad hearts that the family of Lenora Jean Smith of Kingsclear First
Nation announces her sudden passing on September
1st, 2021, at home. Born on June
22nd, 1959, she was the daughter of
Juanita Paul (Solomon) and the late Troy
Smith.
Lenora was a
great artist and had a passion for creating art in the form of
crocheting, painting, carving, bead work and embroidery. She enjoyed
spending her time gardening and playing
bingo.
She will be
dearly missed by her husband of 40 years, Mike Solomon, children;
Micheal-Jon (Erin) Smith, Juanita Starr Smith and Danielle Smith,
grandchildren; Briana, Isabella, Jonnie, Devon, Luke, Trinity, Orion,
Colin, Trent, Mykah, Jonah, Mardee-Jade, and Michael, great
grandchildren; Riley, Scarlett, Dimitri, Lathan, Atticus, Oakleigh,
and Cameron-Kree, sisters; Sarah Solomon (Peter) and Kimberly Smith of
Texas, an
uncle Nelson Solomon (Elizabeth)several brothers and sisters
in-law, as well she will be missed by her dogs Bambi and Coco. She was
predeceased by her father, as well as brothers Troy, John, Michael,
and Wayne and her aunt Phylnese.
Lenora will be resting at
Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton NB,
on Friday, September 3rd,
2021, with visitation starting at 11am to 9pm. A funeral service will
take place on Saturday, September 4th,
2021, at St. Ann’s Parish in Kingsclear at 11am with Fathers
Monte Peters and Curtis Sappier officiating. Internment will take
place at the St. Ann’s cemetery on Thursday, September
9th,
2021, at 2PM.
