Dean Kenneth
Thibideau, 71 of Nasonworth NB, passed away peacefully on Friday, June
25, 2021 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital in Fredericton,
NB. He was born in Annapolis Royal NS and lived in Bear
River NS for most of his life. Dean worked at CFB Cornwallis as a
civil service mechanic, and upon its closure, was transferred to
Gagetown Base, Oromocto where he continued until
retirement.
Dean loved to share
a good joke, go to coffee with his friends, tinker in the garage and
watch the Nascar race every Sunday. Dean's pride and joy was his
family; the ones he laughed with, lived for and
loved.
Dean is survived by
his wife of 51 years Wilma; daughter Kellie(Mike)Francis Digby NS;
granddaughter Mikya (Teya) Francis Yarmouth NS; sister Gertrude
Robinson Round Hill NS; as well as his many inlaws, nieces, and
nephews. He was predeceased by his dearly loved daughter Michelle
Thibideau, mother and father Benjamin and Hazel Thibideau, brother
Gordon, and sister Dorothy.
The family would
like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr Paul Kerr for all the
years he provided care, and to the wonderful staff of the Intensive
Care Unit.
Cremation has taken
place under the care of Bishops Funeral Home, a family graveside
service will take place at a later date in Bear River NS. Donations
can be made to the Nova Scotia Council of Scouts Canada, or a local
children's charity of your
choice.
