Alexander Richard Brewer of Kingsclear, NB passed away surrounded by family after a brief illness. He is now with his beloved wife Faye. Born in Hainesville to Richard and Pearl nee Haines on May 21, 1936

Alex served in the Canadian Air Forces as a young man then he studied to become an electrician and worked as an electrician at Canada Post until retirement. He also worked on the construction of the Mactaquac Dam.

He had many hobbies including: gardening, tinkering on anything, making maple syrup and being the biggest flirt.

Alex was the proud dad of seven: Jonathan Brewer (Angela), Catherine Benoit (Horst), Arlene Krasowski (Bill), Kim Pearce (Doug), Stephen Gray (Margie), Penny Saunders (Dave), Mark Gray (Karen).

He loved being a Grampie, Papa, to grandchildren: Monica, Sam, Greg, Chell, Evelyn, Jake, Sarah, Ben, Charlie, Michael, Evan, Vanessa, Jared, Jillian, Braeden, Haley, Chris, Maggie and great grandchildren, Iliana and Corbin.  Alex is also survived by his sister Joan (Merle), brother Conrad (Marion) and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is predeceased by his sister Dorothy.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, where visitation will take place on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 2-5pm with Covid-19 restrictions in place. The funeral service will be by invitation only on Monday at 1:00 in the Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel. Please join us virtually (link available on Bishops Webpage) to celebrate Alex’s life.
