It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Antonia Green of Boiestown NB, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Friday May 21st, 2021. She was 83.

Born in Puerto Vallarta Mexico on January 17, 1938, close to sixty years ago while working in a restaurant she got an offer from a customer (Quentin Green) to come work in his restaurant in Boiestown, NB. She said yes if he bought her the ticket (not actually believing that he would).

Not long after, a ticket arrives in the mail, and with a real sense of adventure, she moves to Boiestown New Brunswick for a job and found love, family, and friendship. Even after tragedy fell upon our family (the death of her husband in 1974) she stayed there to raise her kids and live the life she had made.

She was a devout Catholic and loved her church. She was a loving, caring, wonderful mom (and dad) who put up with a ton of crap from us kids, especially me. She will be missed as she goes onto this next adventure.

Survived by four children: Daniel, Nathaniel, Juan Carlos, and Ricardo, six grandchildren, Maya and Brennan of Halifax NS, Alicia-Rose and George of Alberta, Meghan Cope and Leighton Ohio (USA), one great granddaughter Evelyn, as well as several other family members in Mexico.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside committal will take place in Boiestown NB beside her husband at a later date. For those who wish, memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
