Alberta (Bertie) Staples passed away at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Born January 29, 1922 at Dorn Ridge, and lived most of her life in the Burtts Corner area.

Survived by her daughter Irene (Jimmy) Forrest and son Earl (Mary) Staples. Also survived by five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, two sisters Freda Jones and Madeline Sharpe.

Predeceased by her husband Lloyd Staples, four sisters and five brothers.

By her request, there will be no visitation or funeral. At a later date she will be interred in the Burtts Corner Community Cemetery.
