John Basil Morgan has reached the finish line and completed a race well run on Friday January 29th, 2021. John ran his race with integrity, purpose and endurance. Born on June 9th, 1933 in Nasonworth, New Brunswick he was the son of the late Merton and Clara (McFarland) Morgan and brother to Mervin (Judy) and Ruth (Willis).

John is also survived by his wife of 60 years Marjorie (MacFawn), children Janice (Mark), Brian (Shelly) and Blair (Cindy). Also survived by sister in laws Ann (Vernon) and Helen. John's grandchildren were his pride and joy, Caleb (Lauren), Taylor (Nathan), Joshua, Thomas, Andrew, Emily, Abigail, and Ben.

He was a well-known expert in his field as a certified engineering technologist. In retirement he was consulted many times for his expertise in high-stress concrete. He spent many hours on his woodland, grooming it for future generations to enjoy. He had a passion for studying God's word and he would write about his understanding of God's plan for his life. He never hesitated to teach not only his children and grandchildren about his deep faith in Jesus Christ but to many others who have crossed his path.

He will be missed by many but because of his faith in Jesus Christ we look forward to the day we will meet again.

A graveside service will be held in the Spring 2021.
