On October 19th, 2020 Marian passed away having lived a full and long life. She was still winning meat at cribbage at the legion until a month before. To the last she was alert and still invested with her keen wit.
She was born in Prince Edward Island to Barwell and Kathryn Douglass on July 2nd, 1918. In addition to a short career in sales, she became a teacher. Her schools included Barker’s Point, Oromocto, Nashwaaksis and her favorite Garden Creek.
She leaves to miss and mourn her daughters Andrea Kornachuk of Tucson Arizona USA, Beth Leroux of Fredericton, and Martha Clark of Edmonton Alberta, her son Danny Watters of Barkers Point N.B. and special daughter Judy Lifsches of Fredericton. She is also survived by her sister Barbara Soter of Ontario and brother Brian Douglass of Calgary Alberta.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Don Watters and second husband John Hagerman.
