It is with great
sadness that the family announces the death of Colleen Lillian
(Phillips) Farrell of Rusagonis, NB on October 22, 2020, at Hospice
House, Fredericton, NB at the age of
89.
Colleen was the wife
of the late John (Jack) S. Farrell. Born in Rusagonis, NB on March 15,
1931 to the late Jack H. and Annie V.M. (Davidson)
Phillips.
She leaves behind 10
children, Harry (Debbie), Lynn of Edmonton, AB, Malcolm (Diane), Jane
Anne McLaughlin, Garth (Penny), Warren (Lisa) of Edmonton, AB, Heather
Boudreau (Ronald), Marlene Rideout (Wallace) of Petawawa, ON, Joan
Rushton (Kevin), Evelyn Farrell (Don). 19 grandchildren, 32
great-grandchildren, sister Aletha Jones, sister-in-law Lanore
Targett, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her
husband and parents, she was predeceased by 1 infant daughter Frances
Elizabeth, 1 granddaughter, 3 great-grandchildren, her only brother
Jackie Phillips, daughter-in-law Helene Johnson, and brothers and
sisters-in-law.
She loved reading,
coloring, puzzles, and also knitting and quilting for her family. She
was a member of the Rusagonis Baptist Church, LOBA #423 and Central
Rusagonis Women’s Institute for many
years

Fredericton for their compassionate care and
kindness.
A memorial service
will be held at the Rusagonis Baptist Church on Sunday, August 29th
2021 at 2PM. Interment to follow in the Rusagonis Baptist
Cemetery.
