Roberta Meuse of
Kingsclear First Nation, long time member of St. Mary’s
First Nation passed away at Saint John Regional Hospital on October
6th, 2020 at the age of 62. Born February 16th, 1958 in
Fredericton, NB to the late Eleanora "Jean"
Sacobie.
Roberta was a member
of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and worked at St.
Mary’s Retail Sales for over 20 years. She loved
to cook, travel to Jamaica and spend time with her family. She loved
her family. .
She is survived by
her husband Steve, her daughter Mandy (Steven Triska); two
grandchildren Kree and Karlee; stepson Mark Cosman
(Jessica). Also, her special nephew Kyle; brother
Frank Sabattis and Jim Sabattis (Marsha) sisters Cora Tomer and
Rosemary Young. Her godchildren Shelly Sabattis, Josh
Sacobie and Jackie Sappier. Several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
Predeceased by her
mother Eleanora "Jean" Sacobie, her brother Malcolm Sabattis
(Bernadette) and sister Dawn Marie
Sacobie.
Special mention and
"Thank You" to the staff and medical personnel at SJRH for
taking very good care of her during her
illness.
Visitation will be
held at 320 Gabe Acquin Dr. In St Mary’s First Nation on
Thursday October 8th from 6:00PM-10:00PM and on Friday October 9th
from 2:00PM- 9:00PM
A mass to celebrate
her life will be held in Kingsclear First Nation Saturday October 10th
at 11:00 a.m. at the powwow grounds with Father Curtis
Sappier officiating. Honorary Pallbearers are : Evan
Sacobie, Kyle Sacobie, Russel Junior Sacobie, Byron Paul, Ramond
