Sunday morning a warm, loving woman departed this world. (Mary) Corinne Beers (Firlotte) passed away peacefully at Neil Hall, Fredericton on September 27. She was cherished by her family: sons Gregory (Michelle), Brian (Pia), Eric (Tara), daughter Deborah (Andre Tremblay), and beloved grandchildren Amanda Beers-Villeneuve, Mie, and Aisling.

Daughter of Lawrence Firlotte and Margaret (Guitard), born April 20, 1937 in Jacquet River, Corinne is predeceased by her husband David. She is survived by her siblings: Veronica Aube, Jeanette Belisle, Antoinette Shannon, Camille Firlotte, and Sylvia Landry.

Corinne had the presence of an old caring soul, one who made everyone around her a little more gentle and a little happier. She took pleasure in the simplest things: a good meal, the innocence of pets, the gifts of nature, a friendly game of cards, country music, and good-natured laughter. Her greatest joy was her family. A strong, devoted mother, she resiliently strove to always provide a nurturing home for her children in Montreal East.
