It is with great sadness that the family of Sally Noreen Smith of Fredericton NB, announce her passing on Monday September 21, 2020, at the Dr Everett Chalmers Hospital.  She was 84 years old.  Born in Fredericton NB she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Dorothy (West) Lyons.  

Sally is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Kenneth Smith, children; Glendon of Hanwell NB, Shelia Thrupp (Doug) of St. Thomas On, Rhonda McCarty (Paul) of Woodstock NB, Weldon Smith (Stephanie) of Dawson Creek BC. She will also be dearly missed by her six grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Sally was predeceased by her sister, Helen and her brothers, Eric, and Richard.

Sally was a wonderful homemaker and took great pride in raising her family in a safe and loving home, she enjoyed playing a good game of 45’s and over the years, attended the odd game of bingo.

A private family service will be held from Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel followed by a burial at the Rusagonis Baptist Cemetery. Covid restrictions will be followed.      

For those who desire, donations in Sally’s memory may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
