With much sadness, the family of Sandra Jane Wilson of Fredericton, NB, announce her passing which occurred on March 15, 2020 at the Oromocto Public Hospital.  Born in Fredericton, January 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Palmer and Eugena Colwell (Ralph).

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Eugena Cormier (Chris McAllister) of Fredericton, Janie Mazerolle of Saint John; stepdaughter Jocelyn Gould (Raymond) of Moncton; stepson, Reginald Cormier (Bev) of BC; sisters, Barbara Jones (Fred) of Fredericton, Susan McCracken (Brice) of Hoyt, Charlotte Alward of Fredericton; brother, Glendon Palmer (Bertha) of Fredericton; step brother, Ron Colwell (Marie). Also mourning her passing are her grandchildren, Justin Mazerolle, Amanda Mazerolle, Alicia Mazerolle; great-grandchildren, Sophia Mazerolle, Mackenzie Mazerolle and Madison Mazerolle, as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Her grand-fur baby Sandy whom she dearly loved will also miss her.

In addition to her parents and stepfather, Sandra was predeceased by her son in law Stephen Mazerolle. 

Sandra worked many years in the hotel industry, retiring from the Ramada Fredericton in 2012. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, playing bingo or cards, listening to Elvis Presley or watching the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.  Her family would like to offer special thanks to the residents of Neville Manor, Bertha Palmer, Dr. Mckay and staff at the DECH, Dr. Reid and staff at the OPH for their assistance and compassion.

There will be no visitation or funeral service at this time. A graveside service will be held in the spring in the Maugerville Baptist Cemetery. Bishops Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton have been entrusted with the arrangements.
