Bert Ulrich of Lincoln, NB, passed away the evening of August 5th, 2015 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Cartierville, Montreal, Bert became a military man through and through. He achieved the rank of Master Warrant Officer, then accepted a commission as a Captain in the reserve.
Bert was a family man who adored his wife and children dearly. He spent much of his career between here and Quebec, but ultimately settled down with his English sweetheart and made Fredericton his home.
Bert is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Irene and two cherished children, Julie and Joshua; his brothers Rubain (Sylvie L.), Sylvain (Julie H.), and Louis-Claude; his sister, Anne; his mother, Agathe Hotte as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Jean-François Ulrich and his father Robert Ulrich.
There will be a visitation at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home Chapel immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM. Rev. Dr. Perry Hanley will officiate. Interment at a later date.
