It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Doris E. Wade of New Maryland, NB, on July 23, 2015 at the Dr. Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Kentville, NS, she was a daughter of the late Austin and Annie (Graves) Bishop.

Doris was Protestant by faith and family, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the love of her life, spending countless hours enjoying their times together. She retired from Retail Sales Manager working for D’Allairds, Sally’s, Elegant Furs and Peoples Jewellers.

Survived by her loving husband of 59 years Jack; children Nancy Hutt (Keith) of Miramichi, Kim Wade (Jeff) of Fredericton and John Wade (Suzanne) of Brighton, ON; 6 Grandchildren Vanessa Berzak, Matthew Hutt, Brittany Wade, Scott Wade, Morgan and Madison Richard; 4 great grandchildren Nicholas and Abigaile Berzak, Ella and Dylan Hutt; a brother Edgar Bishop (Margaret) of Kentville; sister-in-law Dolores Bishop of Kentville; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased an infant sister Phyllis and a brother James.

Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Saturday July 25, 2015 from 12:30 – 2:00 PM, at which time a celebration of Doris’s life will be held with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment to follow in the Faith Baptist Cemetery, New Maryland.

No flowers by request, memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or NB Heart and Stroke Foundation.
