The passing of Mildred E. MacArthur of Fredericton NB and formerly of Cambridge Narrows, occurred at the Pine Grove Nursing Home on July 6, 2015.  She was 99.  Born in Plaster Rock, NB, she was a daughter of the late Wellington and Hazel (Giberson) Sherwood and wife of the late William Edward MacArthur.

Mildred was affiliated with the Baptist Church and a member of the Washademoak Jewels Seniors Club.

She is survived 2 daughters Marsha MacArthur-Jones (Gerald) and Amanda Hawke all of Fredericton; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by a daughter Donna Dearth, sisters Phyllis Troy, Kaye Sherwood and Marguerite Stewart.

Family will receive visitors at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road on Saturday July 11, 2015 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon followed by a service at 12:00 noon with Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Interment in the Rowena United Baptist Cemetery, Rowena, NB at a later date.
